David A. Oney - Senior Consultant, Operations and Maintenance
Dave grew up in rural Ohio, working with his Grandfather doing carpentry, and his Dad doing masonry and mechanical work. He started working on a dairy farm at age 13, and hasn't stopped since.
After working his way through college, he graduated from NCTC with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. Shortly after school, he went to work as a Field Service Engineer for an OEM to the Die Casting industry. During this time, Dave worked in over 200 die cast plants across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. This was the start of 26+ years working in Die Cast and Automotive manufacturing.
He started DAO Enterprises, LLC in 2015, which has expanded his manufacturing knowledge and experience to include automotive batteries, plastic injection molding, steering wheels and air bags. Types of work have included Operations and Maintenance Management, Turnaround/Crisis management, Maintenance software implementation, TPM initiatives, Line Automation and Project Management.
